  • I understand why unions push seniority based hiring to combat nepotism in hiring practices but goddamn is it frustrating having to learn a new job every year because someone more senior than me applied for my contract. Especially when it forces me to engage with the soul crushing act of “networking” because there’s no guarantee of me getting another contract unless someone hires my antisocial ass.
