1·1 month agoThat’s a pretty big assumption if you had a system to always win or have better odds on the stock market why would you tell anyone about it?
The Russel targ experiment I think there was a paper on it. It’s not even like a 100% sure thing either from memory they did slightly better than the silver market.

22·1 month agoI know your joking but the answer to your question is intent. A lot of forms of divination are for seeking guidance in your life and a tool for being mindful of what you are doing and where you are going more meditative if that makes sense. The idea that it’s for picking the lotto numbers or a winning horse is rooted in greed so it doesn’t work because of the intent. Apparently you can game the system though by using people with no knowledge of the intent. Russel Targ had some success with trading silver using remote viewers. I remember hearing about RV people working together to pick stocks not sure if they where successful though.

1·1 month agoI got this a day or so ago I’ve only played a few hours of the campaign. It feels pretty difficult like homm style. Gonna put some hours in this weekend. It seems promising so far.
On my family’s farm out in the wheatbelt there are these 3 long star pickets in a triangle formation in a paddock. I asked my grandad what that’s about. He said they used to wrap them in wire and chase the emus in there and shoot them with shotguns to cull them.

3·1 month agoI tried to use Archinstall but I was installing on a partition on a secondary drive and I couldn’t get it to go in the right place so I just did it the long way. It’s really not that hard but I can see how it’s a bit daunting if you’ve never done it before. Archinstall seems like it would be good if you where installing it as the main os.
It’s a construction error. That’s a tall mixer for above counter basins lol. Some plumber put this on and went not my job laughed and walked away. As much as architects and designers are useless cunts I doubt this is on them.
Looks like an architectural render to me that someone has ai’d some grass and plants on. It’s definitely odd. Cool house though.
Deb and Ian are going to be so upset!

2·2 months agoPlasma login came out with 6.6 right? Or are you talking about something else?
It’s worked fine for me, I was having trouble with sddb or lightdm so I gave it a go. It fixed the numlock not coming on at login screen with reboots which is nice.

1·2 months agoFair question. It’s definitely within my ability to “just” swap to something else, I’d prefer something self hosted that’s foss. I will do it at some point, cf was a bit of a stop gap for me.
CF tunnels are similar to reverse proxies I believe. I started using their quick tunnels to expose things to the web and I found it very easy. A few things I wanted to host needed domains so I bought a domain from cf and get access to the permanent tunnels. Their tools are good and I know them from being the company that you call when you get ddos’d. I figured it would keep me safer while I was still figuring things out.
I feel like in my case I used them because of my ignorance. I know of openvpn i’ll look into it.
Self hosting is why I use CF I like the tunnels for exposing myself to the internet.

Is all the co2 distributed evenly or would there be more co2 absorbed in areas where it is colder and less in warmer areas?
