The test itself is an ADHDer’s nightmare. First they ask you to look at a few pictures, then you take a 250 item questionnaire, where some of them are the same, just worded slightly differently, then they ask you specific questions about the pictures you looked at 250 questions ago.

Going off my age’ed memory here but I don’t remember Tyler being described quite so fashionable in the book. Yes the movie is an attempt to lampoon toxic masculinity, but compared to other castings nobody else had the I want to be Brad Pitt star power. I think it overpowers that you’re not supposed to agree with Tyler. It’s like how people will subconsciously mimic those they admire.

I actually did study for the CCNA and was primed to certify. I decided not to go that route and found myself in a Java class a couple years later. I now don’t use either of those things.

Not a movie, but the finale of Lost. Everyone one was like “Oh my god! They’re all dead! <crying noises>”. Yeah, no shit, they’re in purgatory. If you pay attention, they didn’t all die at the same time. They’re waiting for each other before moving on. Everything dies, damn.

Was it the movie they misunderstood, or did the movie misrepresent the book. I haven’t watch or read either in years but I feel like it’s similar to how Starship Troopers, misrepresents the book.
