But yes. Subsequent films of his were nominated for the Palme d’Or as well as a pair of Cesar awards. As an actor he’s also been nominated for a variety of roles.
La Haine is a critically regarded masterpiece and usually lands in best movies of all time lists. Easily one of the best French movies ever.
It’s really worth a watch.

Though, actually, I do feel getting my flu shot is one of those doing my part things. I don’t like getting sick but I’m not super worried about getting the flu myself. But I get my shot every year because it means I’m less likely to give it to others which means, down the chain of transmission, it’s less likely to infect someone for whom it does matter.
That read was great for the soul.

I’ve never wanted Slavic heritage so badly as I do now.
Oh boy, can’t wait until the flu rips hard through a group of hundreds living in close quartets while they are enroute to do something “important.”

Public bidding/contracts are notorious for all sorts of shenanigans. Many governments have faces this problem. Insisting we get that sorted perfectly, a problem no government in the world seems to have tackled, before bracing ourselves islile refusing to wear a helmet until they make on that stops cars from hitting you.
Just wanted to say thanks for the community and posting these! I’ve only occasionally read foxtrot so it’s wild to see it from its early days!

The trump school of thought is always on offense. To not launch a frivolous lawsuit would be a sign of weakness.
