I was just in Bordeaux. Not a single issue with my weak French and I’d almost always get a reply in French. I promise I am nowhere near fluent, maybe A2 level.

But in Paris, nearly every reply was in English and even if I replied back in French I’d get that look “please stop butchering my language” before they’d reply in English. It’s a running joke now, but I really question if it’s just parisons being assholes or maybe they just want to practice.

Ps. Never had this issue with Italian. My accent is almost Roman too and I’m again, not fluent.

Yep. My dog doesn’t need a collar, no other reason. But she has a harness because it’s the leash law. I don’t use collars on my dogs, but we have a harness for walks. I long ago stopped using collars with so much info about me, my dog, my phone, etc… microchips take care of the lost part in the very unlikely event my dogs leave me.

I had this long term girlfriend that loved gardening. I took her to the local garden store and said shop and enjoy. Cost me near $1000 that day, but the random ‘happy’ sex for those next few weeks was pristine. Bonus, more than half of what she bought she used at my house which looked amazing for all 5 months of warm weather as all these flowers and formerly rough areas just looked amazing with mulch, and trim and full grass… worth every penny.

I miss her some times… but she loved to lie, like A LOT, and I just couldn’t handle it anymore.
