I’ve been too brown to fly anyway. I’m surprised white people care to suppress it.

I was considering posting this one myself. The author is kinda hit or miss, but I thought this article was pretty well done at showing the hypocrisy of the west.

Can you honestly list a counterexample?

They shat their pants so hard they shot down an airliner.

I’ve stuck with Ubuntu for 20 years. I like Debian’s way of doing things, but I prefer 6 month release cycles. Ubuntu is the only game in town for those requirements. All the others are really just customisations of Ubuntu.
Ubuntu’s default DE is built upon Gnome 3. All you should have to do upon install is install the gnome-desktop package, and switch to the Gnome session (instead of Ubuntu session) in GDM for a vanilla Gnome desktop. I think you can skip that step, but some of the Ubuntu extensions are insistent.
From there, you can use the gnome extension manager to customise it however you like. Dash to panel and ArcMenu are my must-haves for a more traditional desktop. But as mentioned, there’s many extensions to make it work exactly the way you want.

Gnome’s extension support is what keeps me on Gnome. It’s really powerful, and there’s some really good ones out there.

Ah, sorry, i must have missed that.

There’s only a couple of main endings. One is just a variant of the other. You keep all your stats when you start a new game, and there’s a path opened to the final boss that you can take at pretty much any time. The other endings are based around WHEN you choose to beat the game, rather than how you play the game, as your actions through the game alter the timeline.

I could pop the cart in to check if you’re super curious, but I’m pretty sure it was a selectable option whether you wanted the game to wait or not in combat on the original.

This article just popped for me, and I simply had to share with you guys. US media folks.

A ceasefire does not solve the root of the problem. This is yet another defeat of native peoples against a settler colonial invader.

No, it tracka. Extremism on race is expecting equality.
Belarus gave Poland advance notice, stating that EW activity caused several drones to become uncontrolled. It’s just more NATO war mongering.

I use transmission for bittorrent. It works fine for me. I haven’t noticed the backend stalling, but 99% of my downloads are automated, so I admittedly don’t use the clients that often. My clients are transmission-remote on Linux and Transdroid on Android.
But I finally made the switch to Usenet this year as my primary source of data, and it is something I wish I’d done ages ago. I’d always balked at the cost, as there was a bit of a learning curve and I didn’t want to get it all wrong and be stuck with a bill. But it’s really not that hard. And FAAR cheaper than a streaming service subscription, and roughly equivalent to a VPN subscription, which is often a necessity for bittorrent these days. The biggest problem with Usenet is a lack of Asian content. I would really like more Chinese dramas in my life, and I have to rely on bittorrent for that. But it’s great for western content and well worth the fees.

I just wasted about a half hour of my time skimming through it. I remember upon first hearing about Russiagate that an infant could tell it was nonsense. Vague claims of hacking something or other, and being upset at Russia for exposing dirt on Hillary. The whole thing seemed manufactured.
This report seems just as manufactured and infuriatingly vague. It could be that it’s too hard to refute such vague claims, or it could just be a whole lot of finger pointing (I’m leaning towards that one). Regardless, it’s really not worth wasting my time thinking about it.
I am going to get the popcorn out to watch the US president cage match though. I doubt much of anything will come of it, but it’s sure to be entertaining, and I like seeing the capitalist class doing some infighting.

I left my bike at the distribution centre and walked. But my partner actually made that drive. I still think walking was faster though. But it doesn’t matter that much… You’ll be out of the tutorial area soon. My advice is to just go. You’ll get things that can traverse faster than a bike later in the game, and you can come back and 5 star things in that area later.
Also, just a tiny bit later in the game you’ll have bikes coming out of your ears. It’s fine to just abandon them when they’re no longer convenient.
Edit: Also, there’s a mechanic in the game that makes a path over your most travelled routes. So it gets easier the next time around.
I haven’t played it yet, but in a similar vein, Squad 22: ZOV is a recent Russian game that depicts the Ukraine war. The American response was also quite predictable. Although it is heartening to see a number of steam reviewers calling them out for review bombing it.

Immigration opponents say the crackdown will translate into more and better-paying jobs for native-born Americans.
As a native born of Turtle Island, I would like to wish all these native-born Americans a nice big “Fuck you.”

Is this how the Israelis feel? Tense?
I work with one. She whined about being afraid to the whole company.
Cloud seeding is relatively straightforward. Just put some dust in the air at the right altitudes. It’s why you’ll often see it rain after a firework show. Or presumably a few days of missile launches.
