2·2 months agoThe thing is, China has little oil of their own, so a push into wind, solar and electric vehicles helps their strategic independence. The US has plenty, and enough entrenched interests to keep pushing ahead on 20th century technology.
3·3 months agoI don’t know, perhaps gaming will get rejected AI chips with a few cores broken. The chip design requirements are slightly different but not completely foreign

Well in Europe we have Miele brand appliances which are close…
These appliances would cost similar to 60 years ago? You’ll be spending 2-3 months salary on a washing machine or television. We got used to cheap and poor quality - poor repairability devices in the consumer economy.
