Are you talking about Hinge-Problem?

Are you talking about Hinge-Problem?
I love going “wheeeeee”

Wasn’t sure either, looked it up quickly…
In this context it’s probably referring to Deep Packet Inspection, some technique to determine traffic type, and then blocking specific (Wireguard and/or OVPN) traffic.
Where I’m living a car really isn’t needed, but the picture of having an extension cord dangling from my third floor apartment down to the road is kinda funny.
I guess AC charging would be rly nice to have in suburbia… Especially when you also have solar on the roof.
I truly love the freedoms of my htpc.
Do you have any idea what your hardware is actually pulling from the outlet? Maybe it’s not that bad after all?
Mine is pulling around 55W from the wall in its “normal” state. Meaning two 3.5" HDDs spun up, and a bunch of light services running. Which is squarely in “not great, not terrible” territory.
Apart from flipping the power saver switch on the mainboard I haven’t done anything to save power. I haven’t checked if that’s doing anything either. It’s a 3rd gen core i5 iirc, which isn’t great at idle power consumption, so maybe that switch is doing something…
I also haven’t had any luck with getting the drives to spin down reliably anyways, and afaik it’s better for them to just stay spinning so I haven’t bothered much to change that.

I’d say grooves is a valid term.
But how are you sure that there aren’t any? I feel it’s difficult to tell just by looking at the picture…

Yeah, imagine open source control electronics though.
Similar to 3d printers, then we could have microcontrollers and it’d still be repairable.

That’s the salmon guy, right?
Thought that one of them looked familiar.

Cars also aren’t efficient though? I feel like there could be some compromise.

Buses could also just be like that… Like they actually don’t need to be shitty and crowded.
Hell, people had whole private train cars before automobiles were a thing.
At this point I’m so jaded that I just kind of accepted it to be real…
I just don’t care anymore, he’s shown his true colours and for whatever reasons people still like him.

Lots of thoughts on this, but text is a really difficult medium to convey them, for me at least.
I think I’ve been/am in a similar situation, and honestly, it’s not easy. Idk even know what to write my thoughts are a mess too.
Usually this stuff takes time, and I often had to relearn things, both of these things are very frustrating… Communication is key though, and super hard, especially when emotions get involved.
It helps to keep in mind that emotions aren’t rational and we don’t choose them, so don’t blame anyone. And needing distance is a very reasonable thing. I don’t think it discounts your love, but it can be very hard to give space when you miss someone terribly.
What I also had to relearn a lot is:
I can’t solely be responsible for someone else’s wellbeing.
I can help ofc, but I won’t be able to if I disregard my own needs while trying to do so.
That’s my unorganized 2 cents :D
edit: also best of luck for both of you.
I guess as long as the threads can take the required bolt torque there’s no reason why it shouldn’t work.
But I’m always a bit sceptical around brakes, because they’re brakes.
I should check all the brake bolts on my bicycle soon…
