2·1 day agoYou still need demand. You can’t just start a company that does whatever you wanna work in whereever you want. Though there are things you can do pretty much everywhere as long you have electricity and internet

1·2 days agoWow, that seems to be the predecessor of SeaMonkey.
It is the continuation of the former Mozilla Application Suite, based on the same source code, which itself grew out of Netscape Communicator and formed the base of Netscape 6 and Netscape 7.

Edith: Hab da was durcheinander geworfen.

It probably worked because they had such a great empire and a kingdom wide standard. One of the biggest reasons why other countries got rid of these measurements was ambiguity and trade. At least every country had their own measurements, often differed by member states or even by city. (Although differences by city probably already were gone when metric came around)

World News@lemmy.ml•China shipped a record 68 GW of solar in March – here’s why it mattersEnglish
51·3 days agoYeah, it’s written in a way that it could be misunderstood as solar power, but the graph is clearly about “panels” and “cells and wafers”. Talking about “solar panels” would’ve been clearer

Who said something about a heart? The leaf looks a bit like a red +, I think that’s why they saw it as nurse
Some people definitely rewrote it as μCLIt and BSDclit for size/licensing reasons

Well the author explicitly says:
Since then, many of you have reached out with genuine interest in contributing, learning from or even continuing the work yourselves.
In another thread the author said that there are no plans to upload an updated version to Steam. There is also no plan to maintain the repo in the long run and forks are expected.
