Soweit ich das beruflich mitbekommen habe, ist das Studium zum Physicians Assistant sowieso etwas unausgegoren, da es nicht an Hochschulen mit medizinischer Fakultät unterrichtet wird. Sattdessen soll so ziemlich das gesamte praktische Wissen über Praktika an Kliniken in den Semesterferien vermittelt werden. Insofern ist es womöglich nich so viel unterschied, ob man hier ein Fernstudium macht. Die Praktika muss man sowieso in Präsenz machen.

Warum das etwas unausgegoren ist: Eigentlich bräuchten PAs eine fundierte praktische Ausbildung. Das ist über einige Wochen Praktikum an Kliniken, die oft nicht mal darauf ausgelegt sind unter Umständen schwierig. Ich kenne eine Klinik, die nach einem Durchlauf ausgestiegen ist, weil sie selbst gesagt haben, dass sie das im laufenden Betrieb nicht leisten können, auch wenn sie die absolventen dringend brauchen könnten.

Das Studium ist allerdings die Hölle und man macht jeden Tag exakt das gleiche.

Und da sehe ich das Kernproblem: Sobald Menschen darin sitzen, muss das Gerät auch ausreichend gewartet werden und jemand muss es weiter fliegen können, wenn alle Assistenzsysteme ausfallen. Insofern ist die vereinfachte Steuerung kein Vorteil, sonder vielleicht eher etwas, das letztendlich die Zulassung verhindern könnte.
