Technology@lemmy.world•Palantir and the New Order: Neoliberalism is dead. Say hello to TechlordismEnglish
4·3 days agoIt’s the age of “Mega Tech Corporations”
If corporations become immune to oversight by state legislative bodies, they exert pressure on governments and transform into feudal structures. At this point, countries that host technology companies have a major role to play.Today, if a technology company has billions of dollars, it can certainly pressure the government to act in its own interests. At this point, the government needs to create legal regulations for these types of companies.

12·8 days agoThis disease is simply testing AI systems on your browsing data. It’s trying to collect data from your services and analyze it with AI. That’s all. If something is offering you big rewards, free services, or discounts, it’s probably using you as material for its services.

Come to the Turkey. There is hundreds of competitors except Republicians, Faschists and Democrats . Nobody knows what happening here in this country. Double excitement, triple adrenaline, endless pursuits, tempo never downs… One way in and no way out!
When you came back to America you will be a staunch patriot!

Technology@lemmy.world•Microsoft Exec Suggests AI Agents Will Need to Buy Software Licenses - Business InsiderEnglish
5·12 days agoChain fraud activities are being carried out in chain systems like n8n, where AI agents are used together. It didn’t take them long to create systems that generate deepfake voices to sound like real people, directing users to buy a product or deposit money into an account. Many videos on this topic have surfaced in Türkiye, particularly on YouTube. If the users and system creators are to be penalized, then of course, information logs regarding these agents can be used.
However, if this is being done to keep some agents out of the system using user license fees, it will completely backfire.

3·12 days agoWe weren’t expecting anything else anyway. Now they’ve come up with this licensing problem too. They have a proposal that would require all AI agents to operate under license. This way, they’re trying to eliminate other developers from the system even during the development phase. These are qualified sons of bitches.A horde of creatures capable of any despicable act to create a monopoly.

Yes. Although it’s actually a very good alternative, it suffers from a lack of community. Its use can be increased with a global community and localized communities.

pics@lemmy.world•Chesme Church in Saint Petersburg, Russia (2012)
1·20 days agoThere is nothing about this topic in Turkish history books. The war reparations the Ottoman Empire paid to Russia were used to build a massive palace complex.I saw and learned these things while living in Russia and learning Russian in 2014-2015.History books contain almost nothing about the naval battles, land battles, and ongoing wars with the Russians since 1700. However, Turkish history books only mention 3 of these agreements - Treaty of Karlowitz , Treaty of Pasarofca, Treaty of San Stefano. Even about the 1877 Ottoman-Russian War, very little information is provided.
Almost nothing has been written in history books about Ottoman-Russian relations from 1750 to 1910.But in Moscow and Saint Petersburg, I saw a different history.

ObsidianMD@lemmy.world•Keeping a diary / journaling in Obsidian
1·20 days agoUse tags like #2026-04-06. Or use the Dataview plugin with your notes to filter them by dates—you’ll get awesome results. Use bullet lists well, at least as well as possible. Link your bullets to related notes and ideas (💡 logging and linking), so you can connect your small ideas to big notes. Forget nested folders; forget massive plugins. Just write and link your notes. For example, I use quick memo notes with names. Whenever I get a new idea, I write it directly into the mobile Obsidian app in bullet-list form with timestamp tags and links to related notes. Those small pieces create big articles.

Fitness@lemmy.world•What do you think about kettlebells? They seem to offer a lot of versatility (nice when you don't want to get a lot of different weights)
1·22 days agoI like compound exercises with Kettlebell. Especially leg and arm combinations are awesome indeed. The main issue here good grip and balance. Especially when i prefer against time exercises it always helps. But you have to mix kettlebell exercises with other kardio and ground exercises to get better results.
i prefer yoga ground exercises with lightweight kettlebells(8kg) at fitness and cardio days. And 16kg+ Kettlebells at workout days.

3·26 days agoMigration waves are not among the primary structural problems in Germany. The German economy’s dependence on America along the Atlantic axis and the industrial shift of its workforce eastward constitute the root of the problem.Another issue is the brain drain from Germany. Many German citizens are migrating to German-speaking countries, primarily Austria, or to English-speaking regions for opportunities in the IT sector. In other words, Germany cannot retain its skilled workforce. It cannot break free from its economic dependence on America. Industrially, it cannot compete with China. When you add migration and a cumbersome bureaucracy to all of this, the current picture emerges. But it’s interesting that he thought he could solve the problem by eliminating secondary causes instead of addressing the root cause.

4·1 month agoThank you for the suggestion.I’ve tried that app before, but I encountered too many bot accounts and malicious individuals on it.Therefore, I especially prefer to keep them as text and voice recordings via email. Those who aren’t really serious about it don’t continue after a few practices. However, since social media platforms with photos and videos are generally active, language practice eventually turns into relationship practice.
My main goal here is to practice the language. I’m looking for people I can communicate with to practice the language, without anyone invading my personal space or me invading anyone else’s.
