Really there’s nothing that’s not political in some way. Politics is the expression of human wills and desires and people tend to say something is political when they disagree.

4·1 year agoThere is a similar sticker but issued by Energy Star instead.
I’d say it’s more specific than your example. It’s less about “let’s save the planet” and more about “keeping your bills lower”.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What is the most unfriendliest country that you’ve visited?
101·1 year agoI feel like there are two types of people you meet in the US: people who are very polite but hold hate in their hearts, and people who are very rude but are very kind when you get to know them.

5·1 year agoI get my books for my used Kindle off Libby because I have no expectation of ownership and I don’t want to give Amazon the satisfaction of my money.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Why is Lemmy, with a tiny fraction of Mastodon's MAU, more fun than Mastodon?
13·2 years agoLike others have said, the community aspect of Lemmy allows me to follow things I enjoy, not people who may or may not post something I like. Additionally, even a simple algorithm that sorts content based on perceived relevancy makes it so I can see the stuff I want to see first (though someone did point out that that isn’t entirely fair, but the “New” sort does provide that experience).
