Iran knows that Trump will do just about anything to open the Strait of Hormuz and end this war right now, and they definitely wanna keep their nuclear program going. Trump will get his pile of shit deal now and call it “the biggest best deal ever“ and leave, while Iran continues to enrich uranium for whatever purpose.

And, of course, Putin is in the background playing puppet master
