I think he’s converting everything to USD as he never says anything about Chinese Yuan. Also the cost of things seems to align with him converting the currency.
The crazy thing is he talks about the affordability, but he makes over 4x the average/median salary for the city. That would be like making $400k/year in New York City or almost $500k/year in San Fransico. Now maybe that money wouldn’t go as far in the US, but when you’re making that much money any place would seem good.
Mario 64 is definitely the more polished game.
However, the different play styles, repurposed levels, story, open world exploration, etc. make it more fun to return to Sonic Adventures over Mario 64 in my opinion. There is certainly a lot of jank, but that era was pretty much defined by jank.
That being said, I think the N64 era holds up the worst for Nintendo. I tend to prefer SNES or GameCube games over most N64 games, so I’m probably biased.
That’s the issue of not moving on to new characters and/or new time periods. We’ve seen Aangs story, while he might do some interesting stuff as Avatar, he’s faced his biggest hurdles already. Sure you can tell more stories, but they’ll live in the shadow of the existing story.
Its the same issue with Star Wars, at some point the story needs to move on (or possibly stop all together).
I never understood why it got so much flack. It’s a lot of fun to play (minus Big/fishing) and was a pretty solid transition to 3D. Sure it had some jank, but I haven’t played a sonic game since that I enjoyed as much.
I would say theater is an even bigger indicator. People want to see people do amazing things.

Yeah, “school uniform” can mean a lot of things. I know a lot of guys who wear slacks and a button down/polo that could be used as a uniform at school. However, there are some styles/patterns that feel uniquely school uniform.

Even if he was just having sleepovers with kids, that’s not a healthy thing for Michael or the kids. For one, it sends very confusing signals to the kids in terms of what is acceptable behavior. Secondly, it dragged these kids into Michael’s own traumas (assuming that is the cause of the behavior).
I’m not sure if any of it would rise to a legal level of wrongdoing, but I don’t think anyone was really looking out for the kids best interests regardless of what was really going on.
Yeah, if you look at the history of Hezbollah, it looks a lot like an occupying force backed by Iran. It’s obviously more complicated than that, but Lebanon has gotten the shaft from all sides on this and has very little self autonomy.

If I cover up the solar panels it’ll produce zero energy all the time. That doesn’t make it a good point.
Energy generation must be economical for it to be adopted, my point is that for winter months it is harder to get energy from solar panels making them less economical. It’s possible they’re still good enough but I suspect that it actually means many places will need alternatives to meet energy production needs in the winter months.

Could you imagine having to maintain it yourself though. I mean assumming it even spits out a working version, you’ve probably introduced a ton of new bugs and potential security threats. Additionally, unlike a fork, you can’t even merge in improvements to the software.
While it’s a scary topic, in most cases you’d be shooting yourself in the foot if you incorporated anything this spits out.
