Kind of. But when Amazon has the option to rent a movie for $3, and all I have to do is click that button and it will stream instantly, I still NEVER click that button. It’s not really a service issue, because it’s available instantly at just the click of a button.
It’s more of a principal issue. Like why the fuck am I paying all this money for all these streaming services and you still want to charge me even more? Makes piracy an easy choice.

I only ordered two and could only eat half of the second one
Rookie mistake. Everyone knows the only way to eat pancakes is to stack them on top of each other and eat them all at the same time.
The back-fire effect explains why so many people love to watch Fox News, even when they’ve admitted in court that they’re not news and no rational person would take them seriously. Reinforcing beliefs through propaganda is comforting - and no amount logic or fact checking is going to change it.
… yeah we’re basically fucked as a species.

That pie chart was spot on. 44% Favorable. 43% Very Favorable. 13% Fine With It.

…[The FBI] has required the deployment of ‘breaching equipment’ to extract him from locked rooms
Wait, how did I miss this??

This is so weird to me. Are we really at a point where we need recreate old, dead actors instead of giving new actors a shot?
Like could you imagine if we had this technology a hundred years ago and just decided that Charlie Chaplin was the best, so let’s just clone his likeness and put him in everything? You’d never have a John Wayne, a Robert DeNiro, a Harrison Ford, or a Tom Hanks. Just a recreation of Charlie Chaplin in every major movie - because it’s cheaper and less risky to recreate someone old with AI than it is to take a chance on someone new.
This timeline is dumb as hell.
What a terrible day to have eyes.
Lol I’m sure that would end badly. Remember that QAnon crazy guy that fired shots at that pizza restaurant demanding to see the basement where they kept the kids tied up?
Google is basically a conspiracy theorist peddler at the point.

What 3d printing software do you use in your country that detects if gun parts are being printed?
Because as far as I know, that’s impossible.
Edit: I assume the downvote confirms such software doesn’t exist.

California is trying to do the same thing. https://youtu.be/5ax9zW0w_gY
My wife works at a library. People constantly come in asking to use the library fax machine, because Google’s AI says they have one.
They don’t have one. Their website says they don’t have one. But LLMs have determined it’s plausible for libraries to have a fax machine, so Google tells people that they have one.
You’d be surprised at the number of people who can’t accept that people working at the library know more about the library than Google.

Yeah where’s the portal where consumers get to apply for a refund check?

No matter how many articles I see about Trump’s popularity tanking, it’s ALWAYS 37% of the population that supports him. I wonder what’s up with that. Like why that exact number? Does about a 3rd of the population have brain damage or something?

No, the Apollo missions also circled the moon.
Still do! At least that one guy…

For those who need a banger to brighten their day: https://youtu.be/ljPFZrRD3J8
Yeah it’s the same reason there’s so much violence associated with selling drugs. When you have no legal means of seeking justice (a drug dealer can’t just call the police if someone steals their supply) - you have to resort to unsanctioned justice.
Turns out that electing a felon while systematically dismantling our institutions and trying to take away voting rights might not be the best idea.
