Porter has been my #1 for the whole time but Ro Khanna and Our Revolution both endorsing Steyer made me ask myself why would they support the billionaire with zero qualifications. And ask myself if I’m missing something about steyer or Porter.

I refused to vote for Lurie in our ranked choice mayoral election because he was a centimillionaire and I now find a lot of his policies similar to London breed, the mayor that he replaced. But I do believe his connections have prevented ICE from terrorizing our streets, and can’t say that breed would have been able to call Trump and talk him out of anything. It begs the question, can billionaires in public office benefit the 99%?

Fair point. There is Medicaid for the poor in the USA. It covers vaccines, and like 40% of births in the US are covered by Medicaid. But for those that earn too much it sucks to pay for insurance.

I’m really surprised to hear that somewhere in the EU doesn’t cover the cost of preventative vaccines. In the USA, even the most basic insurance covers vaccines for HPV and a bunch of other stuff.
