I’ve had a few infestations at different homes. you can invest in a spray for their nest. make sure to take out any nests before they get bigger. there are plants and other sprays you can use to repel them. some people have had success with a fake nest to keep them away.

as to their benefits, they do a great job at killing other bugs like mosquitoes and roaches, as well as being pollinators (which attracts birds as their natural predators). i agree they are awful and hope you can deal with your infestation
