I had a really great dream about going to an audition to be a new vocalist for Van Halen. Both Sammy Hagar and Dave Lee Roth were there, as well as Eddie.

We were all jamming outside by the pool with people everywhere doing rock star stuff. It was a very short audition for me because I can’t sing but watching Eddie play was pretty awesome and well worth it. He was so smooth and effortless.

First the toilet paper, then the petrol. Now it’s lamb chops.

It’s lovely. I’m guessing you had the whole place to yourself

A quick Spoiler Free PHM mention :

I watched the Project Hail Mary at the IMAX. The choice of screen size was worth the extra money. There were a few breathtaking shots that caused slight vertigo which is part of the fun.

I did read the book when it first came out, however, forgotten most plot details which is great. Going into a movie and constantly comparing it to the author’s original storyline can be unfair to the merits of the movie.

I rate the film amongst one of the best I have seen this year. The humour combined with the action and suspense were well balanced, as was the flashback structure of the story. Unfortunately , I don’t like Ryan Gosling though, but that’s just personal preference. He did a fine job.
