Powerline ist wirklich die allerletzte Wahl wenn nichts anderes geht. Selbst wenn man sich nicht mit dem Nachbarn stört ist die performance schlecht unf störanfällig. Hast du TV Verkabelung? MoCA könnte besser funktionieren. Ansonsten gibt es mittlerweile auch sets um dünne Glasfaser an die wand zu kleben. Das sieht man quasi gar nicht. Heise hat darüber einige Videos gemacht.

Ich finde es nicht einfacher. Ein Gaiwan ist super wenn man guten Tee richtig zelebrieren will. Also sich richtig Zeit nehmen und nebenbei auch nichts anderes machen. Im Alltag habe ich aber während der Arbeit gar nicht so viel Zeit nebenher die ganze Zeit aufzugießen

Ist auf die chinesische Art des Tee trinkens ausgelegt (Gong-fu). Kurz zusammengefasst bedeutet das: Viel grober Tee auf sehr wenig Wasser. Das ganze dann sehr oft (5–15 mal) aufgegossen mit extrem kurzen ziehzeiten, von wenigen Sekunden bis 1-2 Minuten.

Würde eher eine mit vernünftigem Backlight nehmen. Klar, F-91W ist DER Klassiker, aber das backlight ist ne funzel die genauso gut auch einfach nicht existieren könnte.

Ne Casio A168 kostet unwesentlich mehr und man kann sie tatsächlich nachts lesen ohne zu raten.

Mit Home-Assistant ist Zigbee eigentlich komplett ausreichend. Ich wüsste nicht welche Vorteile mir Matter und Thread bringen. Die neuen Standards sind in proprietären Ökosystemen sicher ein Game-Changer, aber wenn man sie nicht brauch, bringen sie einem auch nicht viel.
