just the same joyless multitasking you would watching people play in the casino.

We have this with cell phones, I looked back and they were calling it ‘digital dementia’ Can you get through a conversation with someone in real life without them looking something up on their phone? I can’t. We don’t need to know everything all the time I say, but they still squirm, immensely uncomfortable with the feeling of not having their immediate impulses gratified.

That’s the fantasy of superheroes: that people with power can be guided by morality.
I love this guy’s research and work. Zitron doing a great job explaining loudly and clearly the basis for his takes. As a sidenote there was a source code leak recently at anthropic. I think a nail in the coffin would be data breaches where people’s prompts get exposed and we will have actual data that people are mostly using AI to give them jerk off instructions.

that was an exciting read, good sources used to paint a picture of what we all suspected to be true.

but nothing about shopping in person is anything less than a humiliation ritual these days.
Thanks for stating this fact, I really think people should not be viewing him as anything other than a youtuber who was paid to push a product except it was fascist ideology instead of vitamins.

This is an empty gesture, it’s not worth reporting as news without including the various caveats the reveal the truth of the matter:

I appreciate your appeal to reason, but I think the urges to always pluck the lowest hanging fruit, to react first and think never, are just always going to win out online.

it’s a mark of existence in buddhism, your belief is shared by many.

Im ready to die for the cause if anyone needs me
im a fucking coward nobody keyboard warrior on the internet, I’m just glad there’s heroes out there willing to fight for what is right.
I just think his books are better as ideas. I don’t think his writing style is engaging. I shouldn’t have commented on your post. I recently DNF’d down and out in the magic kingdom and posted out of reflex.
