PROPELAUTH VS. COGNITO
Great auth. Out of the box.
PropelAuth
PropelAuth understands that you shouldn't need to become an auth expert to give your users a great, secure experience. We take care of all of the details, so you don't have to deep dive into obscure terminology just to get up and running.
Cognito
Cognito is a heavy solution - practically designed for people who already know quite a bit about auth. The documentation is lacking, and requires quite a bit of cross-referencing to figure out.
PropelAuth
Everything is easy with PropelAuth - whether it's the initial integration or providing stellar support for your customers. Features like invitation flows, user impersonation, customer support dashboards and more are available right out of the box.
Cognito
Integrating Cognito can take weeks or months... and that's just for the basic integration. Truly getting all of the features you need requires additional build time.
PropelAuth
We’re laser-focused on supporting B2B companies in their authentication and user management needs. This means we have features like RBAC, organization invites, and SSO/SAML. And we’ve also built support for the many edge cases that come up with B2B products like setting custom session durations per organization and requiring 2FA for certain organizations.
Cognito
Cognito is a general auth provider. While they provide a little bit in terms of B2B features, they generally don't go very deep when it comes to real world use cases. You'll get the surface-level version of a feature, but will be on your own to make it work for you.
