Hello and welcome to my page on the web.  I’m Pushparaj Motamari , working as a Lead Software Engineer (Vice President) at Goldman Sachs, in Dallas, Texas, USA.

I have 12+ years of Software development experience. Prior to Goldman Sachs, I worked at D.E.Shaw & Co in the trade execution middleware platform processing millions of messages per second.

I did a fully funded  joint degree with Erasumus Mundus Scholarship, European Masters in Distributed Computing(EMDC) at schools KTH-Sweden, IST-Portugal.  I did my master thesis at SICS[Swedish Institute of Computer Science-Stockholm] on File System Snapshots on Hadoop Distributed File System[HDFS] with Jim Dowling (Founder of Hopsworks) as my advisor.

Prior to this, I did bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from BITS-Pilani(Pilani Campus) in 2010.

Programming, Algorithms ,Distributed Systems are my interests.  I received fully funded Erasmus Mundus Scholarship to study Masters in Distributed Computing in IST-Lisbon and KTH-Sweden.

I enjoy long distance running, cricket, tennis, skiing, ice skating, and roller skating.
