SOCIRIS (Security Operations Center Intelligent Response & Intrusion Surveillance) began as a Final Year Project at ILMA University in 2024. What started as an academic pursuit has evolved into Pakistan's first AI-powered autonomous security platform.
The Inspiration
SOCIRIS represents a transformation in how Pakistan approaches security. We recognized the critical gaps in our nation's security infrastructure and set out to create a solution that would be both technologically advanced and economically accessible.
The Challenge
Pakistan faces significant security challenges across multiple sectors. Traditional security systems are often:

- Expensive and inaccessible to small businesses
- Limited in coverage and capabilities
- Dependent on manual monitoring and response

Project Inception
Research and development begins at ILMA University under the supervision of Dr. Nabila Sehito.

AI engine development begins. Computer vision models trained, IoT integration framework established.

Complete MVP with all 7 core components ready for final year project defense.
