Every tool, every bundle, every feature that runs on your machine is in Local. Cloud Single and Cloud Multi add encrypted backup and multi-location support. They do not add software features.
If your Cloud subscription ever lapses, every local feature keeps working. The data on your machine is yours, period. We never take it away.
There's no free trial. Every bundle page on stockyard.dev lists the exact tools you'd get, with screenshots and descriptions. If you have a specific question before buying, email [email protected] and you'll get a reply within a day, usually faster.
The Local license has no expiry. The binary on your machine keeps running. Your data stays on your computer in standard SQLite files. You can open them with any tool that reads SQLite, back them up by copying a folder, and move them by moving that folder. No one can turn off your software.
Cloud backup stops. Every local feature keeps working exactly as before. Your data on your machine is never affected. You can restart your subscription later and pick up where you left off.
A site is a logical business location. "Downtown Studio" and "Uptown Studio" are two sites with separate data. One business at one address running ten bundles is one site. Most customers are single-site.

Cloud Single is $490 per year for one location. Cloud Multi is $1,290 per year for unlimited locations. We're cheaper because the software runs on your computer, not our servers. We don't have per-customer infrastructure costs to pass to you.
Local never touches the internet. Cloud sends encrypted backup blobs to our server on your command; the encryption key is derived from your license file and never leaves your machine. Even Stockyard itself cannot read your backup contents. If you lose your license file, you also lose your backups.
