Embed forked Repo

    Hi guys, I try to embed a forked repository. this causes an error message: “Error: Reposity not found. Please check your URL.” (typo is original)

    How do I add forked repos then? Thanks for your help

    Hi;

    Embedding forked repositories is no different to non-forked repositories and works just fine.

    The error message you quoted isn’t coming from this plugin, so I think you’ve possibly got something else conflicting.

    Alright. I tested with non-forked repos – it works just fine. I tested with 2 different forked repos and I get the error message. I can not imagine that something would be conflicting from wordpress or any other plugin. So IMHO it is either your plugin or github restrictions regarding the oembed which I have no clue about. Any ideas?

    This page here shows that forked repos can be embedded just fine by this plugin:

    The error message you posted is not coming from this plugin, it simply doesn’t contain that string anywhere.

    sorry, my bad. everything works fine now. there was a deactivated but actually not deactivated plugin obviously. thanks a lot
