Jarvis OS

Available on PyPI: https://pypi.org/project/jarvis-os/

Jarvis OS is a voice assistant designed to streamline and automate anything from daily tasks to advanced development workflows. It integrates offline speech recognition, AI-powered natural language responses, and system-level command execution. It can also function as a voice-powered command-line interface, capable of organizing, accessing, and manipulating files, as well as executing bash commands. Jarvis supports optional local customization through LM Studio.

  • Natural voice synthesis using Yapper TTS

  • Streaming responses from local or online LLMs

    • Online default: Gemini 1.5 Flash
    • Local default: LLaMA 3.2 (1B parameters) via LM Studio
    • Customize the local model by editing the LLM endpoint URL in main.py
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system for web-enhanced queries

  • Terminal-based interface with boot animations and dynamic loading screens

  • System-level command execution, such as:

    • Opening applications
