Brian Gates

Brian is proficient in back-end and integration between front-end and back end. His passion for cyber security means he is excellent in ensuring a robust back-end, secure transferring, and a seamless integration from the front-end. With his computer and technology passion from a young age, he has always had an enthusiastic drive to explore how devices and technologies work, how they can be exploited and protected. His experience so far in Computer Science has equipped him with the skills, not only to build innovative projects, but also to build and maintain concrete and secure APIs as well as the skills to integrate those APIs into applications. Furthermore, Brian works great in teams and with external mentors due to his effective communication skills and constant strive for excellence.

Shiza Butt

Shiza works well in a collaborative environment and is skilled at communication and listening. She has deep-rooted passion for multimedia and web development, complemented by a strong foundation in coding principles. Shiza is good at crafting immersive digital experiences that prioritize user engagement and functionality. Her proficiency in both front-end and back-end web development, coupled with her coding abilities, allow her to create robust and innovative solutions tailored to meet user needs.

Mekhail Muller

Mekhail possesses a robust proficiency in both Front-end and Back-end technologies, underscored by a demonstrated track record of accomplishment. His part of a Capstone project last year stands as a testament to his depth of experience, particularly in Flutter development. Furthermore, Mekhail has actively engaged in supplemental projects involving Flutter and NodeJS, this showcases his commitment to continuous learning and practical application. Such diverse experiences equip Mekhail with the versatility necessary to engineer innovative solutions adeptly. Additionally, his tenure last year within the Techteam in the Computer Science Department further bolsters his expertise, affording him valuable exposure to frameworks such as Django.

Jiahao Hu

Jiahao is good at full-stack web development with both front-end and back end technologies, which endowed him with an ability to understand and implement complex web architectures. This situation placed him in a pivotal role in a vast array of high-traffic and efficient web applications. His firm background in computer science principles further supports him in effectively troubleshooting the situation and running web functionalities smoothly. His projects often reflect his dedication to making user-centric solutions that are quick, safe, and will ideally provide a user experience with no interruptions.

Ruan Carlinsky

Ruan has a solid foundation in data structures and algorithms and thrives on tackling challenging problems head-on. His experience as a 2 time national Chess player has honed his strategic thinking and resilience into every aspect of his work. He is very well versed in API integration, CICD pipelines, Code Testing and also possesses a strong eye for quality user design. Additionally, Ruan finds immense satisfaction in working with others towards a higher goal and has a successful track record of team projects from courses such as COS214, COS221, and COS301.
