This is a personal project using Excel which I began last year to better track my finances. It is a continuous working progress and I'm always tweaking things to work a little better so if you have any suggestions for improvements please let me know!

I'd also like to set up some further validation steps in the Savings tab to match up the NET Salary earned in a year to the real income to my Savings accounts each year. However, I will probably need a few more months of data to be able to see a pattern and thoroughly work out how I'd like to set that up.

Another area that still needs some work is the Income Tax column of the Salary tab which has been consistently ~20p off.

For the sake of publishing this publicly, I have changed the input values so this doesn't show my personal finances and there are various comments throughout the workbook explaining why things are there or how I use them.

Feel free to use this or base your own finance tracker off of this template. Please note I have not set this up to account for any higher UK tax brackets in the Salary tab.
