This is great! I noticed that Packagist is not offering dev-master as a version (in the absense of a release tag, which would be nice (php-cache/issues#150). I belive this fix would resolve that. Packagist is not offering it b/c of the errors this triggers on composer validate. Simple fix. Thanks for the effort here.
