YHack Spring 2026 is a hackathon meant to facilitate collaboration and learning. We value each individual and hope to make an inclusive environment that welcomes all. Everyone deserves a chance to participate. To be eligible for judging and prizes, all rules must be abided by.
In order to be eligible to win a prize, your team and project must follow all of the below rules and guidelines:

All members of your team must have checked-in to YHack (needless to say, they must have all been accepted to the hackathon)

At least one member of your team must be physically present to demo your project to judges on Sunday (check schedule for specific time)

All hacking and building must have taken place during hacking hours (11:00am on Saturday, March 28 - 11:00am on Sunday, March 29).

Note: brainstorming is allowed (and encouraged) before the hackathon, but all coding and physical building must take place during hackathon hours

We will verify that winning work is completed by only members of the team and completed within the correct timeframe. We WILL check your GitHub repo.

Your team cannot contain more than 4 people.
