Btelo (btelo.com) is a platform that develops and operates multiple software products, including Vibe Remote (vibe-remote.com) and other products accessible via btelo.com subdomains. We are committed to protecting your privacy and collecting as little data as possible across all of our products.
2. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to all products and services operated by Btelo, including but not limited to:
- btelo.com — the main platform and marketing site
- vibe-remote.com — a remote management tool for controlling computer sessions from your iPhone
- Any other subdomains or products under the Btelo platform
3. Data We Collect
We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate each product. Across our platform this may include:
- Account identifier or connector ID — used for device pairing, account management, and connection routing
- Hashed password — stored using bcrypt, never in plain text
- IP address — temporarily used for rate limiting and abuse prevention
- Email address — only when you choose to sign in via a third-party provider (e.g. Google), used solely for authentication
4. Personal Information
We do not require personal information to use most of our products. We do not intentionally collect personal data such as your real name, email address, or phone number beyond what is necessary for account authentication. We do not use any personal data for tracking, advertising, or marketing purposes.
If you choose to sign in using a third-party provider such as Google, your email address may be provided by the authentication service solely for the purpose of account authentication.
5. Data We Do NOT Collect

6. How Your Data Flows
Our products are designed to minimize cloud data exposure. Where applicable, data is routed directly between your devices and cloud servers only facilitate the initial connection handshake — they do not store, inspect, or log the content of your sessions.
- Session data is transmitted directly between your devices where possible
- Relay servers only see connection metadata (which account or device is connecting), not session content
- Session data is stored locally on your devices, not on our servers
7. Local Data Storage
Depending on the product, local data may be stored on your device including:
- Authentication tokens — in secure on-device storage (e.g. iOS Keychain)
- App preferences — in local app storage
- Session history — locally on your device
8. Subscriptions
Where applicable, subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple through the App Store or other platform payment systems. We do not process or store any payment information. Subscription status is verified locally on your device.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
Server-side data is automatically cleaned up after extended inactivity. You can delete your local data at any time by uninstalling the relevant app or removing the agent software from your device. Contact us to request deletion of any server-side data associated with your account.
10. Security
All network communication uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. Authentication credentials are hashed with bcrypt. On iOS, sensitive data is stored in the Keychain with device-only access protection.
11. Third-Party Services and Credentials
Our products may be used in conjunction with third-party AI platforms and services. Any API keys, account credentials, or other secrets you configure or use through our products remain your sole responsibility. We are not responsible for any loss, leakage, or unauthorized use of your third-party accounts, API keys, or other credentials. You should take appropriate precautions to protect your credentials, including using scoped API keys with minimal permissions and rotating keys regularly.
12. Children
Our products are not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our products after changes constitutes acceptance.
