Cookie Policy
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your browser and remember certain information between page loads or visits.
2. Cookies we use
Conscriba uses strictly necessary cookies for authentication and, when you explicitly opt in via the cookie banner, analytics cookies from Google Analytics to measure page usage and improve the product experience.
3. Browser storage used on Conscriba pages
In addition to cookies, Conscriba stores your cookie consent choice in your browser's localStorage under cookie-consent. This lets us remember whether you accepted analytics cookies without asking on every page load.
4. Storage used by the tracking snippet
If you install the Conscriba snippet on your own website, the snippet does not set cookies on your visitors' browsers. Instead, it stores a temporary identifier in the browser's sessionStorage under webmcpa_session for the lifetime of the tab. We use that identifier to group snippet events generated within the same browsing session.
5. Third-party cookies
If you choose Accept all, we load Google Analytics on Conscriba pages to understand aggregated product usage. If you choose Necessary only, Google Analytics does not load and no analytics cookies are set.
6. Managing cookies
Necessary cookies are required for login and secure product operation. Analytics cookies are optional and are only stored if you consent. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings, and you can also clear localStorage or sessionStorage through your browser's site data controls. Below are links to site data management guides for common browsers:
- Chrome - Settings › Privacy and security › Clear browsing data
- Firefox - Settings › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data
- Safari - Preferences › Privacy › Manage Website Data
- Edge - Settings › Privacy, search, and services › Clear browsing data
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we introduce new features or in response to regulatory changes. Material changes will be communicated via the dashboard. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
