We build the tools
hosting deserves.

We started as a hosting company in 2021. We got frustrated with the tooling. So we built something better and kept going until it became FeatherPanel.

Our Mission

Infrastructure tooling
shouldn't cost a fortune
or take a week to set up.

We didn't start as a software company. We started as MythicalNodes a game server hosting company in 2021. We were operators first, dealing with the same broken panels and frustrating tooling that every small host deals with.

So we fixed it. We forked ShadowsDash, rebuilt it into MythicalDash, then eventually threw out the inherited complexity and started from scratch with MythicalCore and FeatherPanel.

We're not building for enterprise procurement cycles or VC optics. We're building for the person who runs a game server for their community, the solo dev managing their own VPS fleet, and the small hosting provider who deserves the same quality of tooling as a Fortune 500 company.

How We Think

Principles that
guide every decision.

We don't have a mission statement on a wall. We have code on GitHub and benchmarks that speak for themselves.

Open Source, Always

FeatherPanel is and will always be open source under the AGPL-3.0 license. Full source code, no feature gates, no paywalled modules. Build on it, fork it, audit it.

Performance Is a Feature

We measure everything. Sub-45ms response times, 12MB install size, 2% CPU at idle. Every decision is made with performance as a first-class constraint, not an afterthought.

Built for Providers

We build for the hosting provider the person responsible for dozens of clients and hundreds of servers. The interface is clean, the API is complete, and the ops footprint is minimal.

Security Without Compromise

XChaCha20 encryption, zero-trust architecture, 2FA, full audit logs, CSRF protection. Security isn't an enterprise add-on it's table stakes for any infrastructure tool.

Unified, Not Fragmented

The industry gave you five separate panels for five separate things. We gave you one. Game servers, VMs, and web hosting managed from a single login, single dashboard, single API.

Community-Driven

The best features in FeatherPanel came from community feedback. We read every GitHub issue, every Discord message. The roadmap is shaped by the people who use it every day.

The Team

Built by people who
care about craft.

A small core team with a large community. We move fast, write clean code, and ship things that actually work.

Our Story

From a hosting company
to an open-source platform.

MythicalNodes A Hosting Company

It started as a business, not a codebase. NaysKutzu founded MythicalNodes as a game server hosting company, running servers for clients and quickly learning what was broken about the existing tooling.

Forking ShadowsDash

Unhappy with the panels available, the team forked ShadowsDash an open-source Pterodactyl dashboard and started iterating on it. The goal was simple: make it faster, cleaner, and less painful to operate.

MythicalDash Takes Over

The fork had grown so far from the original that it became its own project: MythicalDash. Built from the hosting operator's perspective, it resonated immediately with the community and proved the idea had legs.

Starting From Scratch MythicalCore

MythicalDash showed what was possible, but the architecture had limits. A full ground-up rewrite began alongside the development of MythicalCore an internal framework built for maximum performance and zero bloat.

FeatherPanel Takes Shape

Built on MythicalCore, the project became FeatherPanel designed from day one to unify game server management, Proxmox virtualization, and web hosting under a single, beautiful interface.

Open Source

The source code is
the product.

FeatherPanel is released under the AGPL-3.0 license. That means the full source code every module, every API route, every line of the daemon is public, auditable, and forkable. Forever.

We don't believe in open-core games where the good stuff is behind a paywall. If you're self-hosting, you get everything. No crippled community edition, no missing features, no licensing tricks.

Full Source Access

Every commit is public on GitHub. The panel, daemon, and all official plugins are open for inspection, contribution, and forking.

Plugin SDK

Build and publish your own plugins. The official marketplace hosts community plugins install them in one click, no terminal required.

Community First

Feature requests, bug reports, and PRs are reviewed by the core team. The community has shaped every major feature since day one.

AGPL-3.0 No Tricks

If you modify and deploy FeatherPanel, you share your changes. No BSL time-bombs, no open-core bait-and-switch. Just honest open source.
