Hi, this was the goal of the previous PRs:

{compiler}[system] GHC v9.2.2 (x86_64) #18645
{devel}[system] Stack v2.11.1 (x86_64) #18672
{base}[GCCcore/12.2.0] git-annex v10.20230802 #18673
{lib}[GCCcore/12.2.0] PLY v3.11 #18674
With the bundle of these 5 PRs, the tool Datalad (https://www.datalad.org/) can be installed via EasyBuild.

Hi, with all the changes, now python cannot import patool any more. I think that was why I used the source templates in the first place... I just changed the gitlab extension in the same way, but I think it has the same problem.
If you run python3 -c "import patoolib" and python3 -c "import gitlab" it should work :)

in that case you should add a custom modulename e.g.:
