Normalization of scores is a process used to adjust the results so as to avoid countering variability that may arise in the results in the case of examinations that are conducted in multiple shifts/ over multiple days. The normalization process makes it simpler to fetch results that evaluate the performance of the candidates appearing by adjusting the scores for parameters like difficulty level of each shift, number of candidates in each shift, etc.
As the REET 2025 was conducted in 2 shifts over 2 days, the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER) decided to implement the REET Normalization Process for estimating the scores of the candidates. The details of the formula to normalize the REET scores are presented below.

As discussed earlier, the normalization of scores is applied to adjust the marks of all candidates for factors such as the difficulty level of shifts, number of candidates in each shift, etc. The REET 2025 was conducted for 2 days i.e., 23rd and 24th July in two shifts each day. Therefore, to fetch rational and adjusted results and to eliminate any discrepancy in the scores due to the aforementioned parameters, the BSER applied the REET Normalization Process. The same is expected is REET 2025 cycle as well.
In order to qualify for REET 2025, the candidates must secure the minimum marks for the respective category, as specified by the BSER. Given below are the details of the category-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks for REET 2025.
