Integration Details
Integration Steps

To integrate Plesk 360 with Squadcast for incident management, follow these steps:

  1. In Squadcast, go to Services and select your desired service. Expand the accordion and click on "Add" in the Alert Sources section.
  2. Choose Plesk 360 as the alert source and copy the provided Webhook URL.
  3. Paste the Webhook URL in the configuration settings of Plesk 360.
  4. Click on "Add Alert Source" and then "Done" to complete the integration.
  5. Once the alert source is active, it will be listed under Configured Alert Sources. You can test the integration by generating a test alert or wait for real-time alerts to be triggered by the Alert Source.

Key Features

Through the integration of Plesk 360 and Squadcast, users can perform the following actions:

Route Detailed Alerts: Detailed alerts generated by Plesk 360 can be routed to the appropriate users within Squadcast, ensuring that the right individuals are notified promptly.

Trigger Incidents: Whenever an alert is generated for a server in Plesk 360, an incident will automatically be triggered in Squadcast, alerting the relevant team members.

Auto-Resolution: If an alert is resolved within Plesk 360, the corresponding incident in Squadcast will also be automatically marked as resolved, streamlining the incident management process.

We have full control over on-call issues as every user has access to Squadcast. Read-only access is free for stakeholder users. Pretty flexible in how each individual can choose how to be notified. I’ve setup almost all my professional and personal contact info in the notification chain. Incident exclusion and alert forwarding is really helpful when you don’t want to be disturbed. Have used this a ton when I go on vacation. Easy to use mobile app. Always works, clean UI that makes it easy on the eyes in the middle of the night.
