YES.
Please, just stay quiet and do better. Call out other men for their bullshit. I made a whole post about this, but, yeah, I don’t want to see you under women’s posts, talking about their bad experiences with men, saying that you are one of the good ones, that you are sorry on behalf of other men or whatever… It’s not the time, it’s not the place w, you are just making her experience about yourself. Stop it.Ugh that title. Engagement bait bullshit.
No! Sure, some men can be bad people, but maligning an entire group of people based on the actions of a minority subset of that group is first of all unfair and discriminatory - it’s like maligning all black people because some black people are criminals (even though there are socioeconomic reasons why even in that case), and it’s also a prime contributed to this right wing radicalisation of young men, since they see that they’re constantly called as horrible people, so they think women are hostile to them, and “why not be hostile in return?”.
Building bridges and trying to be empathetic to people, treating them as individuals rather than stereotypes is hard, I know. But it’s how we get to a better world for all of us.

Yes, I absolutely agree. Instead of men complaining to women about why they are a “good guy”, they should talk to other men and call them out for giving men a bad name.
Women are not the cause of women being afraid of men. Men are the cause of women being afraid of men. Men need to step up and fix their own problem.
