PUBDET result was announced on August 25, 2025. The Presidency University Bachelor's Degree Entrance Test was held on June 21 and 22, 2025, by WBJEEB for admission to BA and BSc (Hons) courses at Presidency University, Kolkata. Applications were accepted from March 28 to April 28, with a correction window from April 30 to May 2. The exam lasted 90 minutes and included 50 multiple-choice questions carrying 100 marks. After the results, shortlisted candidates will have to take part in the counselling and seat allotment process. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board was established in 1962. The board conducts all the major entrance examinations in the state of West Bengal for admission to various courses across universities and colleges. The WBJEEB conducts the Presidency University Bachelor's Degree Entrance Test. The PUBDET is conducted to select candidates for various BA and BSc programmes and Hons. programmes in the Presidency University of Kolkata. The Presidency University consists of one college and 8 constituent subject schools.

The candidates have to make sure that they are eligible to write the PUBDET exam. The eligibility criteria should be thoroughly understood. If any candidate is found to be not eligible for the exam, they will be disqualified. The eligibility criteria for the exam are listed below.

The syllabus for the PUBDET Exam is mainly the syllabus of the 12th standard qualifying examination. Candidates have to prepare for the exam according to this syllabus for better scores.
